This canal was build as a part of a defensive belt around the city, it was supposed to be used by an armoured train, appearing from underground as needed. It’s situated in the southern part of the city, down the river, in a swampy area where many smaller streams join the main river.

Wonderful evening light and twisted brush create beautiful reflections on the water surface.
The concrete snake submerges into the water as it reaches the river.
