XIX century manor is one of quite a few abandoned manors and castles in Lithuania. Its completely empty inside so I wont put any interior pics, but the architecture is very impressive, in my opinion.
The manor is built in the neo-gothic style. You don’t see much of this red fired-brickwork around our country.
One of the most prominent features is the tower. Staring down on the little town of Lentvaris its beautiful and grotesque in its own way.
The manor is in a suficiantly horrible state for me to have mixed feelings about it – from one side its a shame that such a beautiful peace of architecture is falling apart, from another, I do like the abandonment, the decay always adds a special aura to a place and makes it feel somehow more authentic for me.
Local kids like to gather near the main door. Sometimes they drink and write on the walls. Sometimes they go inside, but the rooms are barren, there’s nothing left to steal or destroy. The great house endures these bleak times stoicly.

Near the road leading to the main door.
A (water?) tower in a park, near the main building.
